The Scarifyers – From Doctor Who To Radio To Comics One's a commander of an United Nations group dedicated to dealing with extra terrestrial assaults. The other is a wheelchair bound genocidal genetic genius. Together they fight crime.

Or at least uncover spooky goings on.

Nicholas Courtney (The Brigadier) and Terry Molloy (Davros), both well known to Doctor Who fans played Detective Inspector Lionheart and spooky story writer Simon Barnard in a series of radio shows, The Scarifyers, until Courtney's death, when David Warners took the role – who has played The Doctor in audio dramas and will appear in the TV show next series

Written by Simon Barnard and Paul Morris, they have now begun broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Extra… and also as a comic book. Written by Barnard and drawn by Simon Gurr, it's poublished by the same production company Cosmic Hobo.

Which, yes, yes, was the description given to Patrick Troughton's Doctor…
