Tooth And Claw #1 – The Magical Equivalent Of Fracking
Okay t may cause a little subsidence, explosions or water to catch on fire. But fracking is the clearly only available solution to our energy crisis, until the next crisis when we can start burning the forests.
Today's Tooth & Claw #1 début from Image Comics, by Kurt Busiek and Benjamin Dewey, gives a magical anthropomorphical land still full of the kind of petty power struggles common in our own. And talking of power, they have a little crisis in that regard as well.
And the parallels go quite a long way it seems.
So, magical fracking it is, though for the layers of shale, read the layers of time.
And, of course, explosions, subsidence and fire to come…
