The issues kicks off a new storyline after Miles had to be saved by his family last issue.

…only to be confronted by a resurrected Ultimate Green Goblin, presumably working for Ultimatum, a new villain who is the personification of the Ultimatum super-mega-crossover event (in other words, he's really bad).
