Venom and Spider-Man to Swap Bodies in Double Trouble Miniseries in November
In the first storyline of Marvel Team-Up, Spider-Man swapped bodies with Ms. Marvel. Hilarity, naturally, ensued. Just a few months later, Spider-Man will swap bodies with Venom in a new 4-issue miniseries by Mariko Tamaki and Gurihiru, Spider-Man/Venom: Double Trouble. The new series was revealed in Marvel's full November 2019 solicitations, which you can read here.
Perhaps more interesting than the magic that could cause Spider-Man and Venom's consciousnesses to trade places, however, is the variant magic Marvel is working with this series. Spider-Man/Venom: Double Trouble will apparently feature an 8-part connecting variant by Art Adams… even though it will only run for four issues!
Does this indicate a second four-issue mini to follow? Or something else? We'll find out in November, maybe.
