When Superman Committed Acts Of Criminal Damage To Help A Colleague Get A Story. Also, There Are No iPads In The New 52

IMG_0025 From today's Action Comics. Okay, much has been discussed about the trillions of dollars worth of damage done to Metropolis by Superman in Man Of Steel. In comparison a couple of iPads… sorry, Q-Pads… are rather minor.

But this act of wanton vandalism wasn't done to save lives, but to help his colleague Cat get an entertainment industry interview. I know he used to pull this stuff with Lois back in the day, but that was in aid of something worthy and probably not taking down a thousand dollars worth of tech in one go.

I'd like to think that Clark Kent managed to squeeze a couple of lumps of coal into diamonds and send them to the people involved later as recompense. But he seems rather poor right now, and unable to do it for himself…
