Why is Corrupt, Elitist Spider-Man Such a Jerk to J. Jonah Jameson? Amazing Spider-Man #39 [Preview]
Amazing Spider-Man #39 hits stores from Marvel Comics this week, by Nick Spencer and Iban Coello, and we've got a preview for you below in which traditional roles have been reversed!
Spider-Man has been engaging in secret operations with his sister, including pretending to rob a bank to help S.H.I.E.L.D. carry out a secret operation.
He thinks he's doing the right thing, but we'd beg to differ. The public has a right to know about these sorts of things. On that, we agree with J. Jonah Jameson.
Spidey, however, is none too pleased that Jameson blew up his spot. Does Spidey not have faith in the American public? He would side with shadowy organizations over regular people?
It's no surprise that this new elitist Spider-Man would attack a truth-telling journalist like J. Jonah Jameson… even if his words were a bit harsh. So when Norah Winters puts Spidey in his place, Spidey does his best to apologize…
Now that's a podcast we'd listen to. Amazing Spider-Man #39 hits stores on Wednesday.
