X-Men, East Of West And The Wake Top Advance Reorder Charts

Welcome to the coal face of the direct comics market. Where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. This is where supply and demand and most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, where new orders are coming in and where retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire!

The new X-Men book by Brian Wood (Skottie Young cover above) takes the top spot, followed by East Of West #3, as the previous two issues continue to outperform retailer expectations. No third issue drop off for this comic, it seems. And then the new Scott Snyder and Sean Gordon Murphy Vertigo sci-fi book, The Wake gets a bumps as people, well, suddenly discover it's being written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Sean Gordon Murphy.

And, as with Injustice Gods Amongst Us, retailers are continuing to up orders on Digital First books now they're in print. And in Adventures Of Superman #1, now that they are without Orson Scott Card.

Also note a surprise entrance for Clive Barker's Next Testament – on route for an instant sellout for the first issue? And the $1 Morning Glories seems to have kickstarted further interest in that title as well, spread out over a number of covers…
