X Of Swords and Seven Secrets on Next Week's Diamond Previews Cover

The May/June edition of Diamond Comic Distributors' monthly Previews catalogue arrives in comic shops and digitally on Wednesday, May 27th after a brief hiatus and features comic books, graphic novels, toys, and other pop culture merchandise scheduled to go on sale from the beginning of August 2020. It begins, oddly, with X Of Swords.

The front cover is for an event that won't even be happening in August though, or rather not any more. But it looks like Marvel Comics already had the cover arranged for  X-Men: X of Swords: Creation #1, so they are damned if they aren't going to use it. But we do now know that X-Men: X of Swords: Creation #1 will see House Of X's Pepe Larraz return to X-Men after his amazing House Of X that kicked the Jonathan Hickman X-Men era off. Hickman will write the book with Tini Howard.

The back cover features Boom Studios' Seven Secrets #1, which unlike X Of Swords, is actually out in August. With a secretive order that protects the secrets that could destroy the world, from Tom Taylor and Daniele Di Nicuolo. DC Comics usually had a greater than average chance of nabbing the front cover, will that no longer be a thing now? They do get the Gems Of The Month back for August though. Those are:

· BOOM! Studios' Seven Secrets #1
· Dark Horse Comics' Daddy Daughter Day HC and Rick and Morty Character Guide HC
· DC Entertainment's Batman: Three Jokers #1 and Swamp Thing: Twin Branches HC
· Dynamite Entertainment's Mars Attacks Red Sonja #1
· IDW Publishing's Locke & Key: …In Pale Battalions Go… One-Shot and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #1
· Image Comics' Big Girls #1 and Lost Soldiers #1
· Marvel Comics' Fantastic Four: Antithesis #1

The X Of Swords Previews catalogue and order form cover will feature Diamond Select Toys' Star Wars Premier Collection: Ahsoka Tano 1/7-Scale Statue with the character from Star Wars: Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels. It also looks like it will have news about this year's Free Comic Book Day
