The 2017 Nordic Game Awards Give INSIDE The Top Prize
The winners of the 2017 Nordic Game Awards have been revealed at this year's Nordic Game Conference with 2D platform puzzler INSIDE taking home four awards, including Nordic Game Of The Year. Twenty games were nominated in eight different categories, including Best Art, Best Game Design, Best Debut, and Nordic Game of the Year.

The Fun for Everyone award is a special award for the best children's, family, or social game, suitable for people of all ages and is pretty unique to the Nordic Game Awards. The winner for this year's Best Fun for Everyone award was:
- Clapper by Bridgeside Interactive.

Best Debut
Best Debut is brand new award given to a Nordic studio that has released its first game in 2017 (excluding beta and early access).

Special Mention
The jury also gave Owlboy, developed by D-Pad Studio, a special mention for outstanding artistic, audio, technological, and design quality.
