'Bayonetta' Gag From Sega Comes With A Countdown Clock

Post-April Fool's Day Jokes are being tallied and written about on several sites, but of all the jokes that came out yesterday, one had something very real attached to it. As we wrote about yesterday, Sega released a game called 8-Bit Bayonetta yesterday on Steam, totally free to play and kinda fun, too. Go check it out if you get a second.

What people have glossed over is that the game also came with a link to a mysterious countdown clock that looks to be ending at 2pm EST on April 11. The only real clue as to what it could be lies in the imagery behind the clock, and while it isn't entirely clear on some monitors, enhancing it reveals that it's part of Bayonetta's gear. If we're finally getting Bayonetta 3, now is the perfect time to tease it and let people know it may be on the way to E3. Guess we'll all see on April 11.
