Bethesda Will Have 'Fallout 4' VR At E3
Last year, Bethesda revealed that we would be getting a VR version of Fallout 4 within the next year. It was a badass statement as the game was already a hit from its release in November 2015, so the idea of experiencing what you do first-hand was an experience no one could deny wanting to try. Making the rounds this week is a video we're showing you below from Hip Hop Gamer in which we get a confirmation that the VR version will be at E3 2017.
"I talked to Todd the other day and I was like, 'Hey how's Fallout 4 [VR] coming?' and he said, 'Pete, Fallout 4 VR is the most incredible thing you've ever seen in your life. You can't even imagine what it's like playing in VR and how realistic it looks with everywhere you turn your head. It's gonna blow your mind. It's the craziest thing you've ever seen. …We will have it at E3."
The one tiny tidbit that's been left out of this statement is that there's no confirmation as to whether or not we can play the game at the convention. If that were the case, it would give everyone a first-hand look as to the capabilities while also getting a sense of how smooth or jarring the experience is going to be. We can only hope we'll be able to try out the game and pet our dog at E3.
