Finally, Eddy Gordo, Has Come Back, To Tekken 7!

It's been a hot minute since we've seen the Capoeira fighting Brazillian in the Tekken series. Some assumed they had officially retired the character after he didn't join his fellow fighters in the arcade version in 2015. But after a week's worth of rumored leaks, it was confirmed today by Bandai Namco that Eddy Gordo will be a playable character in Tekken 7 when it comes to consoles in June.

Tekken has been known to have some of the most intense cast of characters over the years. Some are forgettable and others can be thrown away, but the majority of the lineup over the years has kept fans coming back for more, the same as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. When Eddy was introduced back in Tekken 3, his backstory was both interesting and shrouded in mystery as his ending cutscene left more questions than answers. Since then, he's become a beloved character and a go-to for many pro-players to win tournaments. Check out his big reveal trailer below!
