Fortnite Servers Almost Completely Back To Normal After Outage
As we reported yesterday, Epic Games was having issues with people being able to get onto Fortnite, as their servers seemed to just be having every issue you could ever have. The company even had to go to their own website and address that this was a larger problem that they needed to fix, saying "Fortnite has had another big bump in player count this week and we were not prepared for it. We have had a ton of issues and we are working hard to getting them sorted. We can't apologize to our players enough, and you can be sure that we are going to make this right. We can only ask you for your patience. We will likely be taking Fortnite offline for a while so we can work through this."
Today, we got this tweet along with more updates from the company that seems to indicate the game's servers have been mostly repaired.

The most recent update on their site states "So far things are looking good with this fix. If you are still having issues with any social features or parties then please restart your game client. If you continue to have problems after restarting please reach out to us on any of our social media outlets." We've tried it out and haven't had any issues ourselves, so whatever caused the issue seems to be resolved for the most part on PC. We'll update you if Fortnite updates fans with the cause of the issue.
