Atari announced that their speedy platformer, Mr. Run and Jump, will get a new mode as players can try out the new Ghost Mode. The shorthand to this is that you'll be racing against yourself as a second avatar will appear on the course, representing your best time on every level you've played. This is where you'll challenge yourself to beat your own time and set new records if you can do it. Let's be real; there are some players who are happy to be done with a level once it's over. But for those who are into racing and want to improve their times for things such as Games Done Quick or to get world records online, this is the perfect update for them. The new mode will also bring with it a series of updates to the game, with the biggest being level and enemy-specific balancing adjustments that are designed to give you a better and smoother speedrunning experience. The update will also provide new optimizations, which we're sure will come with some quality-of-life updates and bug fixes.
