A Preview Of The Halo 5 World Championship Happening Today

As of when this post is up, you can see the live stream, which we've setup below, for you to watch the tournament live on Twitch. But for your own info, here's what's happening today.

The lower half of the bracket is being finished off today before we move into the Championship match. Starting with Str8 Rippin vs. EnVyUs at 10AM PST. Str8 took a loss in the upper half of the bracket against Team Liquid in the quarterfinals of the primary bracket, while EnVyUs has been ripping through the competition on the lower bracket with 4-0 wins in three different matchups after getting knocked out of the primary bracket in the first round. Both teams currently lead the respective groups they were put in, so aside from the single losses that put them in the lower bracket, you're getting two of the very best facing off in what should be a heated battle for the semi's in the lower bracket.

The winner of that match will go on to face Team Liquid in the final match of the lower bracket. TL was doing awesome until they faced off with OpTic Gaming in the finals of the upper bracket and lost 1-4. In a couple of those matches, it wasn't even close, it was clear they were getting outgunned and outplayed. You can bet that whoever they face, they'll be looking to avenge that loss and make quick work of whoever their opponent is so they can avenge that loss in the championship game tonight.
