There's A Lot To Unpack In The Latest 'Rainbow Six Siege' Update

Those of you playing Rainbow Six Siege may be keenly aware of Operation Health currently going on. Today the latest update from Ubisoft where they incorporated the 2.2.1 patch that would officially start incorporating the loot system. These boxes will be called Alpha Packs, and much like their competitor's counterparts, they're randomized and completely cosmetic.

What separates them from most of the pack is that you can only earn them by competing in the game and there's no real-world cash purchase. In other words: Ubisoft WANTS you to play the game. That being said, Rainbow Six Siege is going through a title update today, so the packs are not going to be available just yet and no hard date set as to when they'll go active.

Some of the other fixes and additions include a massive retooling of Hibana from the Operation Red Crow update which fixed her X-KAIROS Launcher. The Kanal map got a bit of an overhaul on the back end to make it less buggy and preventing spawn killing. The bar area of Coastline was recreated from scratch. And a bunch of other bug issues and tweaks were added to the overall gameplay. We hope you enjoy it all once the title is available updating.
