Devil May Cry 5 certainly leaves an impression. What felt like a franchise unable to come back from the brink, now feels like one with a future.

NieR: Automata Gets First Gameplay Footage
NieR is one of Square Enix's lesser known properties, but it certainly has it's own niche audience. Every few months or so, I'll meet someone who swears by it, which convinces me that NieR: Automata will find its audience.
It will also be double pronged on that front too, because the game is being developed by Platinum Games, who have only garnered more and more fans as they've gone. On that front, the new game got it's first gameplay shown at Paris Games Week, and it is certainly very platinum. Fast paced? Hack 'n Slash action? Interesting enemy design? All calling cards of the developer's best work.
