Overwatch Will Add New Post-Launch Maps And Characters For Free
Overwatch is getting huge buzz off of its closed beta right now, with the class based arena shooter wowing fans who get their hands on it. Blizzard really do seem to be putting a lot of stock in the game, and from the sounds of it, it's really paying off.
And hey, this should please fans even further. In a new developer video, it was revealed that there are new ideas for maps and characters post-launch, and Blizzard, instead of offering these as DLC, will patch this in as new content for free. This means that every player will have access to the same things at the same times so there will be no gating off of any of the community.

I love this, as it benefits Blizzard to keep the community in one space and have access to everything at the right times. It also shows a huge confidence in their product. I'm all for that.
