Possible 'Alan Wake's Return' Trademark Filed
Alan Wake has been popping up a lot recently, as Remedy come to the release of Quantum Break and look forward. The franchise has become a bit of a cult classic now, and there is certainly more than a handful of people people asking for a new one and Remedy haven't been too shy about talking about another either.
Well, perhaps it's happening. As pointed out by NeoGAF and then by VideoGamer, this trademark on the European Union trademark database suggests that Remedy Entertainment are intending to do something with the name Alan Wake's Return, which lines up with what I expected to be the developer's next game.
Having said that, this wouldn't be the first time a fraudulent trademark for a video game has ever been registered, so maybe take this with a grain of salt for now.
