Sony To Extend PlayStation Plus Subscriptions After Outage Last Night
Last night the PlayStation Network experienced a bit of an outage, causing chaos for those trying to log in and play games online for hours. Understandably, a lot of users were quite annoyed about this.
This isn't lost on Sony. In a tweet, the studios announced that they will be extending subscriptions to PlayStation Now, PlayStation Plus and video rentals in the near future to compensate.
It wasn't specified how long they will be extended by or what the parameters are, but I'll be sure to let you know when I do. The PlayStation Network has somewhat famously been a little unstable, especially compared to Xbox Live in the past, so this isn't great for confidence. Hopefully Sony do make their network as flawless as possible in response.
