The PlayStation VR Could Come To PC Says Sony Executive
The PlayStation VR is going to be the high-end headset most targeted at the mainstream, what with a home on a console without the need for an expensive PC rig.
However, the device, which is often attributed with being the most comfortable, could end up finding its way onto PC. Speaking to Japanese outlet Nikkei, SCE executive vice president Masayasu Ito, alluded that the PlayStation VR could find another home. He said:
Since Playstation 4 shares a lot of its internals with PCs, the possibility is there. At the moment we are focused on games and we are not ready to make any announcements at this stage, but I'd say there will be an expansion into various fields.
That is kind of cool and exciting, as a versatile VR headset is pretty good for consumers. I wouldn't expect this anytime soon mind, but the fact that higher ups at Sony are publicly talking about it, is promising.
