The Witcher 3 Community Isn't Best Pleased With Current Modding Options
CD Projekt RED recently put out Modkit so the community to get into The Witcher 3 and generate new content. It allows users to change the way things look and allows some wire meshes to be added to the game.
This isn't what most members of the community were looking for though. They expected a version of RedKit, which they have been using to alter The Witcher 2 for years. They expected it, because CD Projekt RED said they were 'looking' into adding the support after launch in an IGN interview last year.
However, when asked by a fan on Twitter when a 'full featured ' kit would be available, community manager Marcin Momot said:
I won't go through adding them all individually here, but if you check out the replies to this tweet, you can see quite a few displeased customers. It will be interesting to see if CD Projekt Red do anything about this. Up until this point, the developer has beant over backwards to please its community. We will have to see.
