This Afternoon, the 2017 Bit Awards announced that they would be adding Warren Spector as their latest Game Changer Honoree. Spector has been involved with both tabletop and video game production over the years, but modern gamers would probably know him best for the Deus Ex series. Below is a snippet from the press release sent out about his inclusion, and the awards will be presented December 15th.

An illuminary game designer and producer of nearly 30 years, we are very proud to acknowledge Spector's contributions to the medium and culture of games through Deus Ex, Epic Mickey, System Shock and more. Warren will be live at the Awards on December 15th and we'll have a musical performance featuring a medley of tracks from his work.
