Will the Remake of Link's Awakening Include Multiplayer?

Some people online caught onto a very significant item on Nintendo's listing for the remake of  The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening that piqued their interest. A number of people have pointed out that Nintendo's official store listing for the game currently says that the number of players is "to be determined", which is a bit of an oddity for a game that is famously single-player.

This has led to the speculation that when the game does come out, there may be a co-op or four-player option. If so, that would be an interesting way to add more content to the remake without changing the story or many of the assets they're updating. But would it improve the experience of playing Link's Awakening? What do you think? Would you want to play this classic with a friend or a group? Or should it stay a single-player adventure?
