Adi Shankar Talks Dredd Sequel And Film Financing

Adi Shankar, the executive producer on Dredd, is constantly asked how a sequel to the Karl Urban movie could get made. Now if you haven't seen Dredd, its a good movie that didn't make much money. It's a thousand times better than the Sylvester Stallone attempt. And it really does deserve a sequel.

So Shankar made this video to talk about the financial realities of film making and what it would take to make a sequel. He does so with some "colorful" language… so be warned that there is some cursing here… but this is a good education on the way films get made and how a bad film can get released while a good film might never happen.
