Animal Planet Gets Into The Comic To TV Show Game With Zombie Animals
Its seems that Animal Planet doesn't want to be left out of the optioning comic books for television show game, so they have picked up IDW's zombie animal series The Other Dead by Joshua Ortega and Digger Mesch.
The series is set in Louisiana during the next big hurricane and focuses on a world of undead animals and unrelenting storms.
"The entire creative team could not be more excited about this partnership, and the timing for 'The Other Dead' series could not be more perfect," says Ortega."Zombie animal meets Animal Planet? Sounds like we have some serious undead fun ahead of us."
Adds Rick Holzman, Animal Planet exec VP and g.m.: "This is an intriguing choice for Animal Planet as the network further branches out into different, dynamic genres."
Series is being eyed for a 2016 premiere.
