Is Armie Hammer Joining The Justice League?
What seems to be the new way to get acting scoops is to watching who is following who on social media. When John Cleese started following people involved with the Justice League movie, speculation that he was joining the cast started. Now the latest star to be tossed into the social media speculation cyclone is Armie Hammer. No stranger to wearing a mask, Hammer portrayed the Lone Ranger in 2013 and was cast as Batman / Bruce Wayne in George Miller's Justice League movie that ended up never happening.
Hammer started following Joe Manganiello and Geoff Johns recently after they started following him. Manganiello is playing Deathstroke in the Ben Affleck Batman movie. So when this happened, fans immediately figured Hammer was signing on to the DCEU and likely playing Hal Jordan. That seems like a pretty big leap in logic to me… but you never know.
So it looks like The two are hooking up for something. But Hammer seems to be having fun with this latest speculation… trolling his followers a bit with a series of tweets.
Hammer also recently played opposite of Henry Cavill, the DCEU Superman, in The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
