Arrow Seasons 1-5 Get A Recap Rap/Love Letter To Stephen Amell
There is a lot of stuff that is supposed to be funny on the Internet that just isn't — but The Warp Zone has put together a Recap Rap for the first five seasons of Arrow, and it had me laughing.
They do a really good job of covering the 100+ episodes and hitting all of the highlights, mixing in a few sexual innuendos — but when it boils down to a love letter to Stephen Amell, it is pretty damn clever.
It is interesting to look back at the five seasons as that was the basic time of him on Lian Yu and the original plan of the series. Moving forward, they won't be using the structured flashback format that they have been. It's also a nice reminder that this show launched the whole Arrowverse, and that the Flash (Grant Gustin), Atom (Brandon Routh), and White Canary (Caity Lotz) all started in this series.
They also cover the big bads for the different seasons, including Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Deathstroke (Manu Bennett), Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), and Prometheus (Josh Segarra) — which is an easier list to put together than the women that Oliver has hooked up with.
Arrow airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
