Charles Dickens And Charles Darwin Are In Assassin's Creed: Syndicate (As Pre-Order DLC)
Assassin's Creed plays with the past a whole lot, often bringing in historical figures and jimmying them into the story of the assassin for one reason or another.
Assassin's Creed: Sycndicate is going to be no different. Ubisoft have already announced that Charles Dickens And Charles Darwin will both be in the game. However, they may only appears as pre-order bonuses. If you pre-order the game at Gamestop you'll get their 'conpiracy mission'. Gamestop describe this content as:
Embark on two pulse-quickening missions that will take you into the inner sanctums of London's most influential men. Defend Charles Darwin's discoveries from those who would kill to silence him. And help a friend of legendary writer Charles Dickens keep a secret that could get him killed.
I hope they turn up in their own right in the story. Using historical figures for pre-order DLC does seem like it could be a little bit of a let down.
Also, I just realised Benjamin Disraeli will be the prime minister during the time period, and that is pretty cool by me.
