St. Agatha, the new horror film from director Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw 2, 3, and 4!), has a new trailer and poster that debuted online yesterday. The film is about a con woman who seeks to hide out in a convent in 1950's Georgia. Needless to say, that was not a good decision, as the convent houses some terrible secrets and horrifying truths. Check out the poster, trailer, and official synopsis down below:
Set in the 1950s in small-town Georgia, the film centers on a pregnant con woman named Agatha who is on the run and seeks refuge in a convent. What first starts out as the perfect place to have a child turns into a dark layer where silence is forced, ghastly secrets are masked, and every bit of willpower Agatha has is tested as she learns the sick and twisted truth of the convent and the odd people that lurk inside its halls."
St. Agatha, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, and starring Sabrina Kern, Carolyn Hennesy, Courtney Halverson, Trin Miller, Lindsay Seim, Hannah Fierman, and Seth Michaels hits theaters and sees digital release both on February 8th, 2019.
