Cultaholic's Launch Delayed After A Member Admits To Inappropriate Conduct
Those of you hoping to see Cultaholic's YouTube channel debut on November 1st are about to be disappointed, in more ways than one. A few hours ago, Adam Blampied, one of the more prolific members of the channel announced in a tweet below with a statement that he has been engaging in inappropriate conduct with women. The conduct in question: he has been interacting with women via social media, telling them he's in an open relationship and asking for images in return. What sort of images are not talked about, but there are posts being added to the letter below that show tweets and social media messages from women claiming he asked for nudes. There's also no indication if there were any in-person interactions.
Blampied has announced he will be taking some time away from YouTube, and because of this, the remaining members of Cultaholic have chosen to postpone their launch of the channel. For anyone who is a fan of Blampied's work from WhatCulture's wrestling side and those who were hoping to see the channel launch next week have got to be shocked and frustrated. The reactions on Twitter to the posts so far are mixed. Some coming in support of Blampied and the crew, while many others are slamming him for his behavior. Regardless of the apology, it's pretty clear that the main reason we know about it is that he got caught, and most likely a decision will end up being made down the road as to whether Cultaholic will continue with Blampied or not. If the crew choose to stick with him, they'll most likely lose some of their fans who will not excuse his behavior. We'll keep you updated as to what happens with this situation as more develops.
