David Benioff and D.B. Weiss Will Make "Star Wars On Acid" According to Emilia Clarke

There are a lot of Star Wars movie in development right now and we know almost nothing about any of it. There are two different trilogies in the works and one of them is being brought to us by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss of Game of Thrones fame. No one knows what to expect from them but Variety decided to ask Solo: A Star Wars Story star Emilia Clarke because if anyone would know it would be her.

[They'll bring] what they brought to fantasy as a genre people are appreciating on a much grander scale. Putting all that creativity, all of that skill and all of that intellect into something that already is, or has, so much. I think it's just going to be Star Wars on acid.

It can't be denied what Benoiff and Weiss did for the fantasy television series and it is going to be interesting to see what kind of content they end up making for Star Wars. We can hope it's something completely different from anything we've seen so far if nothing else.

Summary: During an adventure into a dark criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his future copilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion.

Solo: A Star Wars Story, directed by Ron Howard, stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, and Thandie Newton. It will be released May 25th.
