Django Unchained Set Pictures May Look Familiar To Deadwood Fans
Linda Ge writes for Bleeding Cool.
Raising Hope's Garret Dillahunt has taken to Twitter to share some nostalgia and Twitpics from his recent visit to the set of Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. Filming is taking place on the famous Santa Clarita Melody Ranch, where many a Hollywood western got its authentic-looking backdrops.
Dillahunt, who starred in the final season of critically acclaimed HBO series Deadwood, also filmed at Melody Ranch, couldn't help but notice how similar Tarantino's Old West looks to that on his show:
Visited the set of Django Unchained today….it looked familiar. twitter.com/GarretDillahun…

As for the crew that's now taken over the ranch, Tarantino recently told the LA Times. :
It's a blast shooting here. Most other western towns look like dollhouses. This has the complete look. It's fantastic.
Django Unchained, starring Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kurt Russell and more, will be released on December 25.
