Has Spider-Man Met His Scaly Match? Is He Amazing Enough?

Superheroes have it tough. As if enemies with superhuman powers were not bad enough foes, now even your run of the mill SWAT team might have a secret weapon up its sleeve. According to Big Fan Boy, in the reboot of Spider-Man, the webbed one must taken on SWAT teams that have been transformed into reptiles. Good job he's Amazing.
A nameless source has told Big Fan Boy that Rhys Ifans as The Lizard will wreak havoc with his scaly DNA, transforming a SWAT team and (presumably) making Spidey re-enact the kind of reptile fight normally preserved for the cameras of the BBC Bristol Natural History Unit.
While only time will tell if this will indeed come to pass, it is certain that Spider-Man must take on The Lizard, with or without his reptilian buddies. I may be in the minority on this one but I just hope it ends quickly and painlessly.
Editor's note: Reptiles. Why did it have to be reptiles? And… um. I'm not sure I believe this rumour. But we'll see.
