Exploring the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. Exhibit at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino

While attending CinemaCon this year, Las Vegas photographer Denzel Eslinger and myself stumbled upon the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. exhibit at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. Neither of us had heard of this before, so we reached out and they granted us a tour of installation.

We walked into one of the biggest merchandise rooms either of us had seen — much bigger than the Marvel store on at Disney Springs, but lacking in terms of merchandise. The thing they were lacking the most was any clothing for women, with there only being a piece or two.

We were given a tour through the exhibit by a tour guide who called himself Agent Blade and who clearly loved his job. We were then taken through each room with tons of authentic props and costumes from the various Marvel movies. On each of the walls there is a ton of information where you can learn details about all of your favorite characters. Nearly everything that you see was used on the set of various movies. There are different rooms for each Marvel characters with lots of displays on the walls that can teach you about the characters.

The exhibit is billed as "interactive", but there weren't that many interactive elements to the tour that we were able to see. There were a few things within the exhibit that you could do, like making a projected Hulk slam his fists or a brief VR session where you're in an Iron Man suit. The biggest one is a little game you play at the end with your group and you fight Ultron bots. As far as being "up to date" with the movies, it didn't look like there was anything from Captain America: Civil War or beyond — but I was told that they are always adding more.

Admission-wise you're looking at $34 per adult and $24 per child to get through the door. It's pretty neat to get some up-close looks at some of the costumes, even if they are blocked by these annoying holograms that fade in and out and can make it hard to see sometimes.
