New Behind-the-Scenes Featurette for Mortal Engines

The December is a surprisingly packed month, with plenty of big blockbuster movies that will be fighting to get people into theaters. While everyone is already talking about Mary Poppins Returns, Bumblebee, and Aquaman, there is another one that's flying a bit under the radar. Mortal Engines is being brought to life by the people that brought us Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and is Universal Pictures' big December bet. Universal has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette that talks about building this complicated world and tells us some more of what we can expect from the plot.

Summary: Many years after the "Sixty Minute War," cities survive a now desolate Earth by moving around on giant wheels attacking and devouring smaller towns to replenish their resources.

Mortal Engines, directed by Christian Rivers, stars Hera Hilmar, Hugo Weaving, Frankie Adams, Caren Pistorius, Stephen Lang, and Robert Sheehan. It will be released on December 18th.
