New Godzilla Concept Art Shows An Attack On An Aircraft Carrier
Patrick Dane writes from Bleeding Cool
Godzilla sure is making a whole bunch of noise coming into Comic Con. There was the Mondo poster that hit yesterday, a lot of buzz around the Hall H panel and intrigue over the Godzilla Experience, that supposedly is going to bring Con attendees up close and personal with Gojira himself.
And tonight another morsel hit. From the Godzilla Experience event's app, one of Shreeonk.com's readers was able to extract this concept art.
That looks like two early scenes from Godzilla '98 smashed together, although it was hardly original even then. I'd wager that this is from the beginning of the film since Godzilla has a history of revealing himself by attacking a boat, even if this is a little bigger than most of his MO.
That is if this is even concept art for the movie at all. Maybe it is exclusive to the Godzilla Encounter. I'll let you know tomorrow.
I am going to be one of the first batch of people in the Godzilla Encounter tomorrow, so expect to hear back from me. I am genuinely intrigued as to what kind of installation Legendary have put together to promote their monster movie.
