Red Dead Redemption Developer Looking For Dynamic Multiplayer For Next Game
There has been a long held expectation that Grand Theft Auto publisher Rockstar's next game would be Red Dead Redemption 2. That is at least what a lot of fans are asking for. Thus far though, we haven't heard any evidence that the game actually exists yet.
Well, perhaps this is something worth noting. As pointed out by Gamespot, Red Dead's developer ,Rockstar San Diego, is looking for key position for their next game. There are even a little details hidden in the job descriptions.
The most interesting of these is the Network Programmer position which makes reference to "dynamic multiplayer into all areas of gameplay". This might mean that the world, which is open, would be able to have constantly online servers, perhaps something akin to Destiny.
It is also mentioned in the swath of job vacancies that the developer is planning to release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Logic would dictate that this is likely Red Dead Redemption 2, but who knows? It could be another Bully or something entirely new. I for one would love to see a new Red Dead. If they are only looking for these positions now though, we are probably some way off an actual game.
