Rocket & Groot Webseries Debuts, Inspired By Skottie Young's Art

Not getting enough of Rocket & Groot on the Guardians of the Galaxy series? Can't wait for the new film? How about a 12-episode spin off web-series featuring Marvel's favorite bounty hunting duo? The pilot episode of Rocket & Groot was released and shows the two chasing after a bounty who appears to be the Space Phantom when their ship breaks down, Rocket is tempted by a refurbished ship at the Broker's Junkyard and the two set out to make 3 Million credits so they can buy it.

New episodes will be released over the next few weeks with the full series available by April 10th.

 

Marvel artist Skottie Young consulted on the character designs. The actors from the regular animated series, Trevor Devall (Rocket) and Kevin Michael Richardson (Groot) reprise their roles here.
