Samuel L. Jackson Weighs In On The Marvel Vs. DC Movie Debate

NICK_FURY

There seems to be a real fascination with getting actor's takes on the Marvel vs. DC cinematic universes competition. For the most part, actors play it pretty tactfully too, often just hoping for good movies, no matter who is making them.

It seems Samuel L. Jackson falls into that crew. Speaking to Collider (via ScreenRant), the actor who has been with the MCU since it started, says there is more than enough space for both franchises.

He said:

Hopefully, Wonder Woman will be great too. A friend of mine trained her. I hope it's good. I think there's room for everybody to exist out here. The fact that it's not working or doesn't work or people want a specific thing… I mean that's what makes movies the movies, and what makes audiences audiences. Hopefully, [DC will] make one of those movies these days and it'll be as big as a Marvel movie.

And he isn't wrong. The only people who should really care about this are shareholders and those that get paid directly from a film's performance. Otherwise, I personally am just hoping for good movies all around. Good movies are good, no matter who makes them.
