6 Character Posters Released for Ant-Man and the Wasp
We talk a lot about the Marvel Cinematic Universe around these parts, and after the emotional rollercoaster of Avengers: Infinity War, we're all looking forward to Ant-Man and the Wasp as a much needed Thanos-less respite.
This morning, the official Ant-Man and the Wasp twitter account released a set of six character posters, showing super detailed closeups of our cast of heroes and villain(s) for the 20th MCU release.
We've got the regular cast of players here, Paul Rudd as Scott Lange, aka Ant-Man:
There's also our lady of Marvel, the first female hero to get her name in the title in the MCU: Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, aka The Wasp.
Michael Douglas as the original Ant-Man Hank Pym looks very thoughtful in his character pose:
Lawrence Fishburne is a newcomer to the cast, playing Bill Foster, aka Goliath. We're pretty excited he's on board.
Ghost has undergone a change from the character's comic book roots, and Hannah John-Kamen will be playing the villain:
Perhaps the thing I personally am the most excited for — Michelle Pfeiffer as the original Wasp, Janet Van Dyne (who is Hank's wife and Hope's mom). SHE JUST LOOKS SO GOOD!
Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to hit theaters on July 6th, and we can't wait.
