Star Wars: The Last Jedi – Behind The Scenes Featurette Featuring Rian Johnson And Carrie Fisher
There's living the dream and then there's being Rian Johnson. The director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi has always been up front about how much of a fan he really is and what a dream come true directing this movie was for him.
In a new behind-the-scenes featurette posted by USA Today we get a look at Johnson on set and some interviews with the cast.
The one that probably hurts the most to watch is the late, great Carrie Fisher. Fisher's loss is still very raw for a lot of fans and watching this movie is likely going to be difficult for many fans. Even just seeing this behind the scenes footage, and watching Fisher making a crack about Johnson's lack of flaws, was enough to give me some feels. The video also includes a few more behind-the-scenes shots that we haven't seen before and Johnson being a giant dork on set; it's always lovely to see someone get that much joy out of something.
Summary: Having taken her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga, Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi, directed by Rian Johnson, stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac, Carrie Fisher, and Adam Driver. It will be released on December 15th.
