My Ten Must See Cyborg Movies

unnamed (10)Scott Amundson writes,

Cyborgs consist of flesh and bone over machine. They're killers with no allegiance to humanity. They're also the stars of many excellent movies.

To celebrate the exclusive release of the Krak Gets A Job 24-page oneshot special on the Madefire app, I decided to name the top 10 cyborg movies you need to see!

10.  TC 2000 (1994)

Billy Blanks fights his way through a bleak possible future in this classic cyborg movie. Fight connoisseurs will get their fill with the hearty helpings of martial arts action from Billy and the many exceptional fighters in the film, but those salivating for cyborgs will love the cybernetic killing machine Blanks has for a partner.

9.  Automatic (1994)

Oliver Gruner stars in this film as a cyborg named J Series Automatic. He's forced to lamb it with a rape victim after he kills one of his company's executives. Anyone who loves classic action and adventure will love this picture. It's a definite must-see!

8.  Crash And Burn (1990)

Charles Band's film became famous for having one of the coolest box covers in the video store. This classic cat and mouse game featuring a cyborg killing his way through the future's unluckiest television station is a classic that you must see.

7. Nemesis (1993)

Set in a dismal possible future, Nemesis sees a cyborg policeman on the hunt for his partner, who has gone rogue. This film made its mark by providing inventive action that homages cartoons at times with its zaniness. This is a fun flick that you need to see.

6.  American Cyborg: Steel Warrior (2003) (1992)

This film follows a killer cyborg, who's trying to find and terminate the last pregnant woman on earth before she makes it to Europe. There's one catch. She's being protected by a martial arts master. Anyone who loves cyborg action must see this classic film.

5.  Cyborg Cop (1993)

The number four movie on our list follows a renegade cop on his trip to the tropics, where he finds out that his estranged brother has been turned into a killer cyborg. This is a quintessential movie for any self-respecting cyborg film aficionado.

4.  Hands Of Steel (1986)

Hands of Steel gets going when a cyborg assassin has a change of heart. He was programmed to terminate an environmentalist loon but somehow gets mixed up in arm wrestling. There is much cyborg action to be had in this classic film that you must see.

3.  Cybertracker (1994)

CyberTracker takes place in a world where cybernetic police officers enforce the law. The Cybertrackers are programmed to take out Police Officer Don "The Dragon" Wilson after he learns about Cyberco's plot to harm innocents. Those who yearn for action and adventure will revel in the car chases and explosions that ensue.

2.  Future War (1992)

Future War makes the list for its ambitious mix of dinosaurs, cyborgs and kickboxing. The protagonist is a slave in a dismal possible future timeline. When he travels back in time to meet a nun who was once a prostitute, his cyborg masters and their dinosaur assassins come hunting for him and force the escaped slave to fight for his freedom.

1.  Class Of 1999 (1992)

This sequel to Class of 1984 is the best cyborg movie ever made. It's set in a dark future where America consists of hot zones controlled by violent gangs. When Stacy Keach of the Department of Education of Defense appoints cyborgs to teach high school, the students learn to respect their elders the hard way. You must see this movie! It's the best cyborg film by far!

Join us in celebrating the exclusive Madefire release of Krak Gets A Job  by reading the action-packed holiday classic on the app and watching some of these classic cyborg films.
