The Cast Of Preacher Talks What To Expect In Season 2

Preacher season 2 kicks off on Sunday and the folks at DC All-Access talked to that cast about what fans can expect form season 2. The season kicks off with what Graham McTavish (Saint of Killers) calls the wildest action sequence ever on television. Dominic Cooper (Jesse Custer) sets the stage as the same place the books start, with the three of them hitting the road to find an entity that Jesse doesn't believe exists. Executive producer Sam Catlin explains that they have no idea where God might be or why he vanished.

As for what to expect from the characters, Joseph Gilgun (Cassidy) says his character is still an alcoholic, drug-abuser but will have some personal issues to deal with while Ruth Negga (Tulip O'Hare) explains how her character doesn't really believe in the search, but has nothing better to do and really wants to repair her relationship with Jesse. McTavish says the Saint has been through hell and is bringing it with him. He is motivated by a desire to be reunited with his family and since he has no soul, Jesse can't affect him. As for Jesse, Cooper says that as the season progresses, you're going to dislike him more and more.

Preacher season 2 starts Sunday June 25th at 8 PM on AMC.
