Three TV Spots For 'The Dark Tower' Show Off Some New Footage

We have some new footage for The Dark Tower in the form of what appear to be TV spots in all but name. The first one seems to have the most new footage while the last one really helps drive home how dangerous the Man in Black really is. This movie is two months away so they will be kicking up the marketing in the next couple of weeks. Otherwise this movie is going to get buried underneath a packed summer of huge blockbuster movies.

The Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, roams an Old West-like landscape where "the world has moved on" in pursuit of the man in black. Also searching for the fabled Dark Tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world.

The Dark Tower, directed by Nikolaj Arcel, stars Idris Elba, Katheryn Winnick, Matthew McConaughey, Jackie Earl Haley, and Tom Taylor. It will be released on August 4, 2017.
