V/H/S Director David Bruckner Top Choice For Friday The 13th Reboot
That very special 13th installment of the Friday the 13th horror franchise may be zeroring in on its director. The Wrap reports V/H/S's David Bruckner is the studio's top choice and is now negotiating to take the job.
The choice of Bruckner raises the question of whether the film, which was previously reported to be a total reboot, will take a found-footage style approach, as his V/H/S installment Amateur Night did.
We don't know much else about the story – though I'm betting it'll involve a ski mask and a chainsaw somehow – but we do know it'll have the very appropriate release date of March 13, 2015.
