Vixen Debuts Today On The CW Seed – But Who Is Vixen?

Today is the day that the new Vixen animated series joins the Arrowverse over on the CW Seed. Vixen is really Mari McCabe, a fashion model turned superhero using her Tantu Totem that gives her the ability to tap any animals powers just by thinking about them. The character will be played by Megalyn Echikunwoke and the series will include the voice talents of Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), Grant Gustin (Barry Allen), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) and Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon). So turn in here to see the first episode some time today.

Now I could write up a nice little history of the character, talking about her debut in Action Comics #521, her joining the Justice League during their days in Detroit and even her time on Justice League Unlimited… but DC has taken care of that with this nice little Vixen primer.
