Kingdom Hearts: Re: Chain Of Memories Up For Auction At Heritage
Heritage Auctions, an auction house based in Dallas, Texas, that mainly deals with auction lots and listings primarily pertaining to comics, video games, trading cards, and other items of a similarly collectible nature, has put a rare, graded copy of Kingdom Hearts: Re: Chain of Memories, a game for the Sony PlayStation 2, up for auction! This game, widely considered the midpoint between the first and second "mainline" games in the series, is a remake of a game that was put out on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance years earlier. Prospective bidders will only have up until Tuesday, September 13th, to place a bid on this pivotal entry in the Kingdom Hearts series.
In Chain of Memories, much like in its remade version, you play as Sora, a boy who has lost contact with his friends Riku and Kairi and is on a journey to save them. His journey has led him, as well as his colleagues Donald and Goofy, to the mysterious Castle Oblivion, which is lorded over by the enigmatic members of Organization XIII. This game also acts as an ambitious crossover between the Final Fantasy series (also produced by Square Enix) and various intellectual properties owned by Disney, and so as a result you shall encounter many different characters from these properties. Furthermore, according to the item's auction listing on Heritage Auctions' website:
Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories – Wata 9.6 A Sealed [Foil, First Run], PS2 Square Enix 2008 USA. Enhanced port of the 2004 Nintendo Game Boy Advance game Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Produced by Shinji Hashimoto and Yoshinori Kitase. Written by Daisuke Watanabe. Music composed by Yoko Shimomura.
If you wish to place a bid on this very cool Kingdom Hearts game, please kindly note that you will only have up until Tuesday, September 13th, to do so. You can find this item's auction listing on Heritage Auctions' website by clicking here. Good luck!
