Last week, Bleeding Cool ran this article, reporting rumours rampaging around the highest echelons of the BBC that a lot of missing episodes of Doctor Who had been found, and were planning to be released later this year.

So Bleeding Cool ran a story the other day about what we regard as well sourced rumours that the BBC have been stockpiling a number of presumed-wiped episodes of Doctor Who, in readiness for a fiftieth anniversary release.

So this morning, The Sunday Telegraph announced that one of the bookie's favourites, Rory Kinnear, had been offered the lead role of Doctor Who by the BBC.
