Created by William Marston who lived in a polyamorous relationship with two women, one can read all manner of subtext into the character, though she has been portrayed in straight relationships, notably Steve Trevor and currently Superman.
But the comic book Justice League 3000, relaunching in June as Justice League 3001, and previewed today in the[...]
The podcast consists of the latest news in comics, creator interviews, and a weekly book club discussion.
This week we're lucky to have the supremely talented Howard Porter! He just finished a run on Justice League 3000 and is already working on the follow-up, the appropriately titled Justice League 3001.
And he's chosen a book by a personal friend of his, the[...]
Mark Bristow writes for Bleeding Cool, and has a theory…
Is DeMatteis, Giffen and Porter's Justice League 3000 technically taking place on Earth 51?
Earth 51 was a world that Ray Palmer found where his friends and family were alive shortly before Final Crisis.
After the multiverse was reborn in Infinite Crisis, Earth 51 was shown to be[...]
If these are the twenty-four surviving DC Comics titles into June 2015, untouched (aside by creative teams) by the mini-relaunch we've been covering this morning.

In November's The Multiversity: Pax Americana #1 by Grant Morrison, he had a small supporting role in a sobering Watchmen-inspired tale in an alternate universe, and he was a main character in this month's more humorous Justice League 3000 #12 by J M DeMatteis and Keith Giffen, a time-displaced hero who landed in the future[...]
Even if they aren't watching Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Okay, I'm not quite sure how, on the prison planet Takron-Galtos, Blue Beetle and Booster Gold in Justice League 3000 are able to find a hidden cache of Ted Kord's equipment underneath his old New York offices Seriously, forget Thanos Vs Hulk's place in time, this seems to[...]
Secondly it's drawn by Howard Porter who is soooooo much better at his craft than in is Grant Morrison JLA run, totally reinventing himself from the
Justice League 3000 is a book by Keith Giffen, J.M DeMatteis and Howard Porter, featuring the parasitic clones of DC Comics' Justice League, a thousand years in the future.
And very pretty it looks too.
Since then, it has been limited to those central Justice Leaguers Even if the Flash is now female But more change is coming.
Keith[...]
Or a lot…
That's what I call a Green Lantern Corps, from Justice League 3000 Or would that be a Green Lantern Hard Corps?
Lois Lane meets her fate (again) in Batman/Superman Ah well, only one thing to do, go and rip the Joker's heart out I guess.
And Batwing gives us rather unconvincing Batman cosplay[...]
And it's a better plan than a Superman can come up with.
From Justice League 3000 there But sadly, as Action Comics #31 reveals, no it's not enough Nowhere near enough As the world gets a dusting of a certain green cloud – no, not the one from Marvel's Inhumanity, but a permeation of the atmosphere[...]
Though it may not be working…
Dunno, Madame Xanadu in Trinity Of Sin: Phantom Stranger, um, the future?
What's so special? He's Howard Porter, he is currently DC Comics' best superhero artist and he is having a whale of a time on Justice League 3000.
An Icthyosaur shows us it has a fine sense of irony in Turok, Dinosaur[...]

And yes, Clive Barker's Next Testament #8 the French have a certain something as well when it comes to the desires of the flesh…

Last month, I wrote a review on the mediocrity of Justice League 3000, Issue 3 I didn't see it going anywhere I thought the character's attitudes were laughable and saw the art as maybe the only shining spot Issue 4, on stands today, shows me how wrong I was to write this series off.
The[...]

I must admit, when I turned the first digital page of the first digital issue of Justice League 3000 on my Comixology app, I was impressed: a fast-paced story that had yet to reveal itself; characters, familiar and not, with questionable motives and reasons for being; and artwork that displayed action just as[...]
I felt regularly disappointed.
Cut to ten years later and, well.
This is Howard Porter's original art for Justice League 3000.
Boy do I feel an idiot.
Is there any more lush artist working at DC right now? Frank Cho meets Moebius meets Todd McFarlane meets the aforementioned Frank Quitely and Bryan Hitch.
And all Howard Porter.
I could just stare[...]

J.M DeMatteis is a comic book writer famous for many things, including the classic 'Kraven's Last Hunt' storyline that ran on all the Spider-Man titles of those days, stellar Justice League work with constant collaborator (or partner-in-crime, really) Keith Giffen, with whom he's co-writing Justice League 3000 for DC, among lots of[...]
Hmm, you know, we pretty much have this in London already.
Is it me or is Justice League 3000 #2 making the case for DC's editors, having to work in rather trying circumstances? This comic certainly has had some interesting editorial issues.
So we get it, Power Girl in Suicide Squad Earth 1, for some reason[...]

And come January I'll be talking a lot about All-New-Marvel-Now-For-Real-This-Time! The writer's of JLI delivered the goods with Justice League 3000 I enjoyed it, love the banter and bickering among the "can't believe it's not the Justice League" team If you were thinking about trying this book, do it Like JLI, I think you'll either[...]

Well that was fast.
No sooner has Kevin Maguire told people that he is off Justice League 3000, with the first issue now being redrawn by Howard Porter, mentioning that he turned down a Brian Bendis X-Men comic for this project, than Brian Bendis announces that Maguire will now be drawing Guardians Of The Galaxy #10[...]

It was a very funny sitcom take on the League, it was Buffy before Buffy and I loved it.
I was rather looking forward to Justice League 3000.
Then Kevin Maguire tweeted;

Justice League 3000 #1 seems to be using the classic Teen Titans #1 pose is that a hint? Could they feature Donna and Wally? Cloned? The Superboy on the Teen Titans cover is not the pre-Flashpoint Superboy but more likely the alternate future son of Clark and Lois from whom Superboy was cloned from.
We see[...]
